Il titolo del Gruppo Benetton ha chiuso le contrattazioni di venerdì 25 Giugno a Piazza Affari al prezzo di riferimento di 5,65 euro, facendo registrare una performance nella settimana pari al -4,9% rispetto alla chiusura del venerdì precedente .

Durante la settimana sono stati scambiati volumi medi giornalieri intorno ai 213mila pezzi .

Rispetto ad inizio anno il titolo ha fatto segnare una performance in flessione del -9,5% . Nello stesso periodo gli indici FTSE Italia All-Share, FTSE Italia Mid Cap Ind e l indice Bloomberg Europe Apparel hanno registrato una performance rispettivamente del -13,4%, -8,3% e del -3,6% .

BR - Bloomberg: IBTB BB) ha presentato in data odierna i primi risultati di un programma di ricerca radiobiologica per la monoterapia del tumore mammario nei primi stadi di sviluppo della malattia, mediante impianto brachiterapico permanente . Attualmente, il trattamento precoce più comune per il tumore mammario prevede un intervento di chirurgia conservativa al seno seguito da radioterapia con fasci esterni (External Beam Radiotherapy, EBRT) dell intera mammella . Alcuni dati sembrano indicare che in pazienti correttamente selezionati non è necessario irradiare l intera mammella . È pertanto in corso uno studio, nell ambito di trial clinici, dell irradiazione parziale accelerata della mammella (Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation, APBI) che potrebbe persino essere sostituita da una monoterapia in cui viene utilizzato un impianto brachiterapico permanente . For the patient, there is clearly a practical advantage to be treated by brachytherapy rather than by EBRT: a reduction of treatment time . A brachytherapy procedure is done in one day, while for EBRT patient needs to come 25 to 40 consecutive days for treatment sessions . A scientific paper was published in June 2010 in The International Journal of Medical Physics (American Association of Physicists in Medicine) about the radiobiological investigation on dose and dose rate for permanent brachytherapy of breast using I-125 (Iodine) or Pd-103 (Palladium) sources[1] . It addresses the question of what could be the appropriate dose and dose rate for permanent seed implants for breast cancer as monotherapy for early-stage breast cancer . Today permanent brachytherapy is mostly used to treat prostate cancer, but there are now more and more interests to use this treatment option also for early stage breast cancer . In 2007, IBt Bebig already partnered with the University Hospital of Liège (CHU), Belgium, to do a series of trials as described in a scientific paper published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology[2] . "It seems that based on our physical and radiobiological study, it exist a window of opportunity for permanent implants with low energy sources for the partial breast irradiation of early stage breast cancer", said Prof .
