Il titolo del Gruppo Benetton ha chiuso le contrattazioni di venerdì 22 Gennaio a Piazza Affari al prezzo di riferimento di 6,38 euro, facendo registrare una performance del +2,7% rispetto alla chiusura del venerdì precedente .

Durante la settimana sono stati scambiati volumi medi giornalieri intorno a 417mila pezzi .

Rispetto ad inizio anno il titolo ha fatto segnare una performance di +2,2% . Nello stesso periodo gli indici FTSE Italia All-Share (ex Mibtel), FTSE Italia Mid Cap Ind (ex Midex) e l indice Bloomberg Europe Apparel hanno registrato una performance rispettivamente del -2,6%, -0,8% e -0,7% .

Preliminary Key Financial ResultsCurrent reporting indicates that, boosted by a surprisingly strong fourth quarter, total sales for the year 2009 have reached an historical all-time high in the amount of EUR 32 . 5 million . The source of revenues was evenly split between Permanent Brachytherapy and Temporary brachytherapy products . Approximately half of the total revenues were indeed generated by sales of I-125 (Iodine-125) radiotherapeutic implants, used for the treatment of early stage prostate cancer . The other half of the revenues related to sales of MultiSource® HDR Co-60 temporary brachytherapy equipments (usually referred to as afterloaders), Ru-106 (Ruthenium) ophthalmic plaques and therapy accessories . In addition, the total income was also boosted by revenues generated by the contracts signed in Russia earlier in the year . Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) is reported to reach almost EUR 6 million for the year 2009, therefore more than doubling the amount booked in the previous year or EUR 2 . 4 million in 2008 (1) . On a Net Income basis, the company will also book its first annual Net Profit ever since IBt started its activities a little over than ten years ago .
