COMUNICATO STAMPAStezzano, 13 settembre 2010Per diffusione immediataBREMBO INVESTE IN REPUBBLICA CECA E 35 MILIONI IN UN NUOVO STABILIMENTO DI SISTEMI FRENANTI PER AUTO- L investimento triennale (2010-2013) è a supporto della decisione di alcuni clienti di applicare ai loro modelli sistemi frenanti leggeri e performanti, prodotti con le tecnologie tipiche di Brembo . - In questo modo Brembo entra per la prima volta in un segmento di mercato dell auto, denominato mid-premium (berline di media e alta gamma), grande dieci volte quello tipico dell azienda . - Già acquisiti progetti da quattro clienti: Land Rover, BMW, GM e Audi . - Nel 2014 verranno prodotte oltre 1,5 milioni di pinze freno e fuselli, per un fatturato derivante da nuovi business di circa E 55 milioni . Nell ambito della strategia di espansione internazionale e di forte crescita in nuovi segmenti di mercato, Brembo ha deciso di investire, nel prossimo triennio, circa E 35 milioni per la realizzazione di un nuovo polo produttivo nella Repubblica Ceca (nella città di Ostrava) . Il nuovo sito, che verrà ospitato in un edificio industriale già esistente, inizierà ad essere operativo a partire dal 2011 e comprenderà la fusione, la lavorazione e il montaggio di pinze freno e altri componenti in alluminio, con l obiettivo di sviluppare un polo industriale integrato in grado di offrire al mercato europeo sistemi frenanti di qualità e ad alto contenuto tecnologico . A questo fine Brembo S . p . A . ha costituito una società , controllata al 100% e denominata Brembo Czech s . r . o . La costante ricerca volta a ridurre l impatto ambientale dei veicoli con il conseguente interesse per componenti di peso inferiore e migliore performance, è alla base della decisone di alcuni clienti di applicare anche nel segmento denominato mid-premium - grande dieci volte quello tipico di Brembo - tecnologie del segmento luxury e high premium, in cui Brembo è leader a livello mondiale . I nuovi prodotti utilizzeranno la conoscenza e le tecnologie peculiari di Brembo, e avranno come principali caratteristiche la leggerezza, la performance e il design, proprie dei componenti in alluminio rispetto a quelli in ghisa . Tra i vantaggi indiretti, legati alla riduzione del peso e della coppia residua, ci sono anche la riduzione delle emissioni inquinanti e il risparmio di carburante . Il fatturato di Brembo Czech s . r . o . sarà di circa E 55 milioni nel 2014, ottenuto attraverso nuovi business . Ad oggi sono stati acquisiti progetti da Land Rover, BMW, GM e Audi . Ai siti produttivi italiani continuerà ad essere affidata l attuale produzione destinata ai segmenti top e luxury del mercato . "Strong Momentum": a new ambition for the GroupToday SCOR presents its strategic plan for the period 2010-2013, "Strong Momentum" . With this new plan, SCOR notably intends:- to pursue its development model balanced between Life and Non-Life reinsurance business;- to continue to grow in the markets where it already operates, with its current range of products and services;- to expand its franchise, which is already highly developed throughout the world, and to further improve the quality of its long-term client relations;- to increase the contribution to its results made by asset management;- to increase its organic growth by around 5% per year, launching 6 initiatives in Non-Life reinsurance and 4 initiatives in Life reinsurance, dealing for example with Longevity cover and the expansion of the Group s facultative reinsurance services . SCOR s proven capacity to absorb shocks, along with its current competitive position, will enable the Group to moderately increase its risk appetite for 2010-2013 and to envisage reinforcement in terms of both profitability and solvency . I nuovi veicoli rappresentano un elemento fondamentale nel programma di NJ TRANSIT per il rinnovo del materiale rotabileBERLINO - (Marketwire - 1 settembre 2010) - Bombardier Transportation ha annunciato in data odierna di aver ricevuto un ordine per 100 carrozze per pendolari MultiLevel da New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJ TRANSIT) . Il valore del contratto è stimato in circa 267 milioni di dollari (210 milioni di euro) e include un opzione per altre 79 carrozze . Si tratta della seconda commessa ricevuta da Bombardier da parte di NJ TRANSIT per questo tipo di veicolo . Già nel 2003, Bombardier aveva provveduto alla fornitura di 329 carrozze MultiLevel, attualmente in servizio per NJ TRANSIT . The MultiLevel vehicles feature upper and lower seating levels as well as a spacious intermediate level at each end of the car --- making them truly "multi-level" --- and offer high levels of capacity, comfort and convenience . Each coach has 15 to 30 percent more seating capacity than a typical single-level car, yet is specially designed to meet the infrastructure constraints of certain rail networks, such as those posed by tunnels . Comfort features include a two-by-two seating configuration that eliminates the middle seat found on many single-level vehicles, specially designed seats with improved lumbar support, and more leg room, knee room and seat width than found in conventional coaches . Large side doors located at the intermediate level provide accessibility from both high and low level platforms . Bombardier is also providing MultiLevel vehicles for Montreal s commuter rail lines . Specially-configured versions of the MultiLevel vehicles operate in the Atlantic City Express Service between New York City and Atlantic City . NJ TRANSIT is the largest statewide public transportation system in the United States and an established customer of Bombardier . Over the years, Bombardier has provided hundreds of push-pull commuter coaches and MultiLevel vehicles to NJ TRANSIT . In terms of locomotives, Bombardier has supplied 29 electric locomotives of the type BOMBARDIER ALP-46 and is currently filling orders for 36 ALP-46A electric locomotives, an upgraded version of the original product, as well as 26 ALP-45DP dual-powered locomotives .
