Bombardier si aggiudica contratto di gestione e manutenzione da 101 milioni di dollari a San Francisco, Stati UnitiBombardier consolida la propria reputazione di affidabilità operativa all aeroporto internazionale di San FranciscoBerlino, 3 dicembre 2008 - Bombardier Transport ha concluso con la città e la contea di San Francisco, California, un accordo della durata di otto anni per la gestione e la manutenzione del sistema automatizzato di navette dell aeroporto internazionale di San Francisco (SFO) . Il valore del contratto è stimato a circa 80 milioni di euro (101 milioni di dollari americani) . Bombardier est chargée de l exploitation et de la maintenance du système de navettes, appelé SFO AirTrain, depuis sa mise en service en 2003 . Fondé sur la technologie de véhicule automatisé BOMBARDIER CX-100 et comptant deux voies qui sont en fonction 24 heures sur 24, ce système de navettes dépasse constamment le taux de disponibilité de 99,5 % stipulé au contrat .
